Spiral pipe is formed from a coil of metal into a rigid steel tube with a 4-ply spiral lockseam. It has a smooth interior for low friction loss with the grooved seam entirely on the outside. This pipe has a resistance to crushing approximately 2 1/2 times that of longitudinal lockseam or welded pipe. Optional corrugations are available which increase the rigidity of the pipe by approximately 300%. Pipe sections can be joined together by an E-Z Flange with Barrel Clamp, E-Z Flange Jr. with Barrel Clamp, Standard Spiral Pipe Connector, or Companion Angle Rings.
Engineered for Performance and VersatilityOur Spiral Ducts are manufactured to meet the demanding needs of HVAC, exhaust, and air ducting requirements. Built with robust galvanized steel, they not only offer high corrosion resistance but also maintain structural integrity even under extreme temperature and pressure variations. Flexible diameter and length options mean every installation can be precisely tailored for residential, commercial, or industrial spaces.
Compliant with International and Local StandardsEach duct is meticulously crafted in adherence to globally recognized SMACNA and IS standards, ensuring safety, compatibility, and reliability for all ventilation projects. Our advanced manufacturing processes guarantee a high-quality product that excels in both performance and longevity, making them the top choice for contractors and service providers India-wide.
FAQs of Spiral Duct:
Q: What are the primary uses of the spiral duct?
A: The spiral duct is designed for efficient air distribution in HVAC ventilation, exhaust systems, and general air ducting in commercial, industrial, and residential buildings.
Q: How is the spiral duct joined during installation?
A: The duct sections are connected using a spiral lock seam and feature end connections such as male/female couplings or slip joints, facilitating quick and secure assembly.
Q: When should I choose spiral ducting over rectangular ductwork?
A: Spiral ducts are ideal when you require higher pressure resistance, better airflow efficiency, and easier installation, especially in projects demanding both aesthetics and performance.
Q: Where can these spiral ducts be installed?
A: These ducts are suitable for installation in offices, factories, shopping malls, hospitals, and residential buildings, essentially anywhere high-quality air distribution is necessary.
Q: What materials and finishes are available for the spiral duct?
A: Our ducts are made from galvanized steel, available with galvanized or pre-coated surfaces. The standard color is silver, with custom colors available on request.
Q: What are the benefits of using spiral lock seam ducts?
A: Spiral lock seams enhance the ducts mechanical strength and airtightness, ensuring energy-efficient airflow and minimal leakage throughout HVAC and ventilation systems.
